[Finch shows up smelling like smoke (fresh smoke between his lips,) and looks tired - as usual. He knocks on Dom's door with his knuckles, hiding his cigarette in his hand as some hired help walks down the hall - putting it back in his mouth whenever Dom opens his door.]

[ He smells Finch's cigarette before the knock, then opens the door wearing a t-shirt and long shorts. Casual as he gets, hand still on the doorknob when he looks between Finch's eyes and the cigarette in his mouth. ]

Hey. Can you put it out? The smell's kinda strong.

[ And he doesn't like it. Don't call him out when he admits he smokes weed. Dom steps aside to let him in, scratching behind his ear. ]

Yeah, er- sure.

[Frowning, he just... kind of leans toward the doorframe and puts out the cigarette against it. Part of him matches Dom's awkward freak for freak, because he doesn't quite know what to do with the butt afterward and ends up just putting it in his jacket pocket.]

[ He did it without complaining or making fun of Dom. That's a lot of points in his favor already. Dom gives him a soft shrug. ]

[ Though he wonders - is Finch's sense of smell totally normal? ]

[Finch doesn't mean to laugh - he's not laughing at Dom, anyway. It's just that... he's cute? And Finch didn't ever clue in, somehow, to think about Dom in any other way than a pal but here they're facing it head on. And for whatever reason that doesn't make Finch overthink and get anxious - he just enters the room slowly, shrugging off his jacket and draping it over the edge of a chair. He's got a plain white undershirt on underneath a plaid overshirt, and dirty ass looking jeans and boots.]

Maybe at least a drink?

Yeah, sure.

[ Dom gets on it immediately, grabbing soda from the mini-fridge, and then — remembering that his is Finch, and he definitely means he wants beer, so he takes that out instead, and keeps the soda in the other hand for himself. The bottle opener so just happens to be around, unless Finch has a way to open it on his own; Dom's handing it over anyway.

Dom stands close(ish) to him, opening the can, drinking some of the fizzy soda down, licking his lips after. Soooo. ]

You don't care that I'm younger than you, right?

[Dom has to say that. While sipping soda to Finch's beer. He pops the cap off and then tries to find a good way to answer that because he often times tries not to think of how old he is in comparison to half the people he sleeps with. After some internal debate:]

You're only a couple years younger than Iggy, right?
