On May 2nd, Dom (
wicka), Felix (
rehabitual) and Julian (
docmartens) will approach the altar and use it to try and open a portal back to their world. Those capable of detecting magic surges may be able to feel what they try (and fail) to do at the altar! Here's a copy + paste from the lovely mods:
Of course, this little ritual 1. is a failure 2. has whacky consequences that we'd like everyone to take part in! Dom, Felix and Julian are all marked by sin-based sigils due to a ritual they did back home, and what they're doing at the altar is going to amplify the sigils' influence on people around them — a lot.
For info about their sigils: Dom/Wrath, Felix/Gluttony, Julian/Greed.
Also from the lovely mods:
This is an open invitation for anyone who would like to either interact with their temporary curse directly or to be affected by it and use that as a springboard for your own shenanigans, based on the sin-sigil that marks each of the boys!
Feel free to plot with us for direct interactions or among yourselves for how you'd like to engage with the influence of the sigils on your characters! (Ex: one or all of them show up to an event and chaos ensues, at breakfast, dinner, etc.)
These effects will last one week, from May 2-9 and involve being in the proximity of these individuals to trigger. Threading with them is not required to involve yourself — you're free to handwave that your character crossed paths/was sharing the same room with one or more of the boys/etc.

When they begin the ritual, the altar initially responds. For a split second, success feels tangibly within their reach, the altar pulsing with a faint glow. And then, all at once - The tether of magic snaps. The very earth under their feet becomes distorted, the runic symbols shift and twist and rearrange themselves in dizzying, ever-changing patterns. Existence itself slows to a crawl, leaving them to wonder if they’ve been pulled somewhere else. As the ritual collapses, there’s no immediate sign of any consequences. It isn’t until the next day that Dom, Felix, and Julian will begin to feel ... odd, off.

For the next week, the altar magnifies and warps their sigils in the following ways:
Dom’s presence becomes unbearable to anyone in the vicinity, enraging whoever is in his close radius. Every reaction in his presence becomes combustible, constantly on the edge of violence - often over trivial matters.
Felix’s gluttony isn’t just overindulgence anymore - it’s pure obsession for the people around him, turning every room he enters into a frenzied, mindless cesspool of hedonism.
Julian’s greed doesn’t just affect others; it stains him with a sense of dangerous entitlement, certain that he deserves everything he desires, and expects others to submit to his claim on it or his wishes for it. Julian, and others around him, are motivated to obsessively hoard whatever catches their eye.
